Migrants claim being shot by Greek police at Turkish border

Turkey has accused Greek security forces of shooting at migrants trying to cross the border.

At least one person has reportedly been killed, Sky News reports. The clashes took place near the border town of Edirne in north-western Turkey.

While the Greek government has strongly denied the claims, Sky News reports to have witnessed the injured being treated in hospital.

A woman confirmed to Sky News that her husband had been shot dead.
