Important information for Kenyan visa applicants in Germany

Anyone in Germany planning to travel Kenya is advised to apply for the Kenyan visa, at the earliest, eight weeks before the planned date of entry.

The Embassy of Kenya in Germany said that the visa is issued with a validity entry period of 90 days.

The Embassy has also confirmed that with effect from 1st February 2016, children under the age of 16 years accompanying their parents to Kenya are exempted from paying visa fees.

You are therefore advised not to submit an application or make any visa fees payment for a child under the age of 16 years.

For security purposes, all visa applications must now be sent to the Embassy of Kenya in Germany through DHL EXPRESSEASY PREPAID NATIONAL™ and a self-addressed return envelope of the same kind attached for sending the passport back.

Please also note that the Embassy no longer sends passports through registered mail. Family members or those travelling together can send their applications in one envelope and attach one envelope for sending back the passports.
