Yassa is a delicacy made famous by the Senegalese Diaspora. In its variants with red meat, fish or chicken, the Yassa is one of the most delicious dishes from Senegal. Senegalese traditionally prepare Poulet Yassa as a treat for guests.
– 2-3 lbs chicken pieces (whole or half)
– 4-5 large onions
– 3-4 cloves garlic
– ½ cup lemon juice
– ½ cup cooking oil
– Red and black pepper (to taste )
– Salt (to taste )
