The tragic accident occurred between Großkugel and Schkeuditz. A middle-aged Saxon man was walking on the B6 to Schkeuditz on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at around 10:30 p.m. when he was hit by a lorry semi-trailer.
The accident happened just before entering the A9 motorway.
As a result of the impact, the pedestrian was thrown straight onto the road. There, three drivers were no longer able to avoid him or brake. The victim died on the spot.
