The event’s name Sonne is derived from the German word for the “Sun”. It comes from the fact that the world, especially Africa is blessed with this beautiful natural creation of light and energy – the Sun.

The theme for this year’s event is “Talent meets Fun”.

The children and young people will be presenting their cultures through Fashion, Music, Drama, Dance and more. There will be lots of entertainment, side attractions and games.

Guests will have a chance of admiring fantastic paintings by Shannen Chioma, a young Nigerian-German artist.
