The African Investor Master Class is a series of business and investment training seminars specifically for Africans in the Diaspora. Friends of Africa are also welcome, of course. This is the first seminar of its kind for Diaspora Africans in Germany.

By attending, you become part of something truly great! According to the World Bank, Africans in the diaspora sent a total of $ 32.5 billion in remittances to their countries of origin in 2015.

The average African living in the diaspora is actually an investor by default. However, due to lack of business knowledge and relevant market information, many may not be in a position to act as such. During the master class participants will be taken through the core principles of business as well as investment training and strategies.

The following topics will be discussed, among others; how to study trends in the market, how to spot business opportunities, how to calculate ROI (return on investment), how to minimize risk and maximize returns, and how to fund a business venture. “I’m convinced that Africans have the potential to create employment for other Africans by either starting or investing in African businesses,” Steve says. “However, not everyone can become an entrepreneur. Therefore, we need to build an ecosystem that will support those who start their own businesses, while at the same time provide returns to those who invest in them.”

In addition to being a premium networking event, the master class is a platform to showcase African entrepreneurs with businesses in Germany. African entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses to African Investors and ask for a possible investment.
