Nigeria Football Federation reconstructs Technical crew of the National team

Nigeria Football Federation recently announced the reconstruction of the Technical crew of Nigeria Super Eagles

Augustine Eguavoen and Emmanuel Amuneke appointed by Nigeria Football Federation

Augustine Eguavoen, who is the Interim Technical adviser was retained by the federation. Former Nigeria world cup star Emmanuel Amuneke, who was also the head coach of the u-20 boys, was appointed as the chief coach and assistant to Eguavoen. Sadly Jose Peseiro won’t be moving forward with the team as it was expected after the AFCON 2021.

The reconstruction comes immediately after the Nigeria Super Eagles saw an early exit at the Africa Cup of Nation in the recently concluded championship in Cameroon. So far, the Nigeria Football Federation has approved the recommendation of the Technical and development Committee. Amuneke is one of the most top players of the Nigeria Super Eagles. He is remembered for scoring both goals that won that won Nigeria the 1994 Africa Cup of Nation. He also scored two goals for Nigeria in 1996 FIFA World Cup.
