Ready for the big party? Best African musicians to perform at Afrobeat Music Award Germany

All roads lead to Berlin for the Afrobeat Music Award Germany (ABMAG). The event will be attended by the best Afrobeat musicians in Germany.

The award celebrates the works of German based Afrobeat musicians and the role Afrobeat music plays in uniting both people from different backgrounds.

ABMAG also celebrates the business opportunities Afrobeat has created for musicians, DJs, presenters, journalists, promoters, clubs owners, bar owners, etc.

ABMAGThe award recognizes all who through Afrobeat music, “have been successful and have positively affected our society,” says Afrobizgermany.

The awards giving ceremony will take place on 8th October 2016 from 19:00 at Genthiner Straße 20, 10785 Berlin.

Samson Onoja Itodo, head of Afrobizgermany, the organizer of Afrobeat Music Award Germany said the event which has been described as the very first of its kind in Germany, will be a very big party.

Talking to Tony Airhenbuwa of What’s Up Naija on African Heritage Radio, Mr Itodo said the guests should “expect spectacle, expect flamboyance, expect colours, expect a lot of noise, …. so come with your loud colours, come with your loud attitude.”

The “red carpet is gonna be killing,” he added.
