Germany, Lower Saxony to relax corona restrictions from Tuesday

The German state of Lower Saxony wants to relax corona restrictions earlier than planned. The suggestion comes that after Pentecost, customers should also be allowed in some places without a corona test.

In regions with stable incidence rates below 50, the compulsory test for retailers is to be dropped from Tuesday next week at the earliest.

In addition to this, the mask requirement for retailers in regions with a stable seven day incidence below 35 will be lifted for five consecutive working days.
